VICTORIA – Local Victoria business owners are joining the broad range of endorsers in support of Marianne Alto’s campaign for Victoria city council in the Nov. 20 by-election. Business endorsers for Alto include Gordy Dodd, Dodd’s Furniture, Elizabeth Cull, Dig This, Evelyn Andrews-Greene, Andrews-Greene Chartered Accountants, Doug Balson, Dialogue Research Inc. Paul Ramsey, Clever Elephant Solutions and Erik Ages, CASPER Communications .
“Marianne Alto is a straight shooter with common sense and an ability to bring people together. We need her on city council in Victoria. She has experience to deal with the matters of most concern. I encourage people to vote for her. She has my support,” said Gordy Dodd, local furniture store owner and well-known philanthropist.
“As a Victoria small business owner who cares deeply about our community, I believe we need people like Marianne Alto on our local city council," said Evelyn Andrews-Greene, whose chartered accountant business is located in Bastion Square.
Marianne also has the support of Elizabeth Cull, former provincial cabinet minister and owner of the Dig This stores. “I have known Marianne for many years. She has a unique ability to reach out to all sectors of the community and bring them together to solve problems. Marianne Alto will be a real asset to Victoria city council.”
